After 6 days, 11 hours, and 1 minute

This disruption was caused by the carrier's engineers working on neighbouring services in chambers along the route our service takes.

After an extended period of monitoring, this circuit has remained stable (although with a pronounced increase in loss since their quality workmanship), but this additional loss is well within the signal margin of our optics on the circuit and so it has been returned to production for the time being.

We are still awaiting a maintenance window to be scheduled by the carrier to undo the additional loss they introduced to begin with.

There was some disruption to traffic between 15:10 and 15:25 due to disruption to one of our dark fibre paths in the London metro area between Sovereign House and Volta

We have shut down the affected link whilst we get the dark fibre carrier to investigate

All traffic should currently be passing as normal but the network is at risk until this redundancy can be restored.
